College Application

This camp is for students who want to tackle the college application essay head-on! Through guided in-class writing exercises and practically-focused discussions about the personal essay, students will learn both what makes a strong college essay AND how to craft them. By the end, students will have gotten a head start on their application process, and acquired the skills they'll need to continue their work throughout the summer.

Research Paper Writing

In this course, students will learn how to write an academic research paper, gaining research skills that will benefit them in high school and beyond. Students will search databases for scholarly articles, construct a literature review, and learn to recognize credible sources. The ability to summarize research in a well-organized, logical, and clear essay will support students life long.

SAT Reading and Writing

This intensive course will focus on the skills needed to excel on the SAT Reading and Writing sections. Through focused practice, students will learn strategies to analyze passages efficiently, identify key ideas, and answer challenging question types. With timed drills and personalized feedback, this course equips students with the knowledge to maximize their scores.
